Component Location
Description
1. General Description
The value of the input shaft speed should be equal to the value of the output shaft speed, when multiplied by the 1st gear ratio, while the transaxle is engaged in the 1st gear. For example, if the output speed is 1000 rpm and the 1st gear ratio is 2.846, then the input speed is 2,846 rpm.
2. DTC Description
This code is set if the value of input shaft speed is not equal to the value of the output shaft, when multiplied by the 1st gear ratio, while the transaxle is engaged in 1st gear. This malfunction is mainly caused by mechanical troubles such as control valve sticking or solenoid valve malfuctioning rather than an electrical issue.
DTC Detecting Condition
Item | Detecting Condition & Limp Home | Possible Cause |
DTC Strategy | ? Rationality-high | ? Inspection components related to the OWC and REAR clutch in A/T ? In case of incorrection of output speed signal ? In case of incorrection of output speed signal |
Enable Conditions | ? Engine speed >400rpm, ? Output shaft speed >500rpm, ? Shift stage 1st. gear, ? Input speed >0rpm, ? A/T oil temperature >10? ? A/T range switch rationality Only one signal ? A/T range switch D, 2, L ? Time after shift changing finish >2sec |
Threshold Value | ? ?input speed/1st gear ratio - output speed ?=200rpm /1st. gear ratio |
Diagnostic Time | ? More than 1sec |
Fail Safe | ? Detect once, diagnosis output and dectect 4 times, 3 rd gear (D RANGE ) or 2nd gear(2,L RANGE) |
