General Description

Passenger Curtain Airbags(PCAB) ,which are inside of left and right sides of headliner, protect driver at a broadside collision. SIS, which are inside of left and right sides of B-pillars, senses impact from collision at this moment. Based on the signal from SIS, SRSCM decides to deploy Curtain Airbag or not.



DTC Description

The PCAB(Passenger curtain airbag) squib circuit consists of the SRSCM, PCAB. If it causes the airbag to deploy when the airbag deployment conditions are satisfied. The above DTCs are recorded when the resistance too high is detected in the PCAB squib circuit.
