General Description

When a vehicle has a slip on front/rear wheels according to a driving and road condition, the 4WD ECU calculates heat value on multiple disk clutch in order to prevent it from damage by excessive slip and warns of overheating. Also, it determines if it makes coupling run or be suspended.



DTC Description

If the 4WD ECU detects that there is an overheating at multiple disk clutch by an excessive slip, it sets P1832 for protecting the coupling.
