Shift motor is used to change working range of transfer by utilizing Auto/low selection switch.
AUTO ?LOW Mode,LOW ? AUTO Mode
Position incoder provides feedback from the shift motor to the TCCU.
4 switch signals, from encoder, provide information on rotational direction and location of shift motor.
The MPS(Motor Position Sensor) receives 5 volts from the TCCU.
In cases where the mode switch is changes; the shift motor operates, and MPS contact point creates an ON/OFF signal.
When 5 volts is recieved by the TCCU, it monitors operation of shift motor.
If the shift motor has not reached its destination within 5 seconds, a shift system time out is reported. A resulting corrective action shift is performed.
